Today is such an AWESOME day!

Oh yes! Today is really an awesome day! I've got a few updates to share with you guys... Read on!

#1 : More things added into Ben's playroom
Yesterday, we shifted the alphabet mat from our bedroom to Ben's playroom and his eyes lit up when he saw me dragging all the alphabet mats into the playroom! As I was slowly putting back those loose pieces (cos I dragged it all the way from our room :P) Ben was already running to and fro, stepping hard on the mats (not sure if he's trying to help or trying to mess it up). So now, half of the playroom's floor are padded with the alphabet mats... the other half is already covered by the Ikea rug we bought a month ago. Here's how it looks like:
#2 : More decoration stuff added into Ben's playroom!
I managed to find back the finger puppet toys we bought from Ikea last year and decided to stick it to the window frame in the playroom. Here's the results:
Oh, did you noticed the awesome 'greenery view' right in front of my laptop? Nice eh? :D
Next, I've also added an alphabet poster at the back of the door. This is so that I can teach Ben the basic everyday stuff like Here's how it looks like:
#3 : More wall stickers added into Ben's playroom!
I bought 3 more wall stickers today! Yesss! And 2 of them are the last piece! Woohoo! Here's how the stickers look like before I started sticking it up onto the wall:
And here's the result few feet away:
Hubby said they are too clashed but I think it looks nice! What do you think?

I have yet to stick up the wall sticker with the giraffe design - that is a measurement sticker where you measure your child's height. Here's the close up shot of two of the wall stickers I managed to put up just now... The one with the red heart petals are exactly the same as the one we had in our bedroom. I love the designs so much, so I decided to get another one to put in Ben's playroom :D
#4 : Mother's Day gift for MIL!
Yes, although my mum has already passed away and safely in heaven now, I do appreciate what my MIL has done for me and our family. Since she's always nagging us when we spend money to buy gifts for people, we (as in hubby and I) decided to get her something she loves! Yes, we still have to spend money to buy it, but its not pricey and we bet she would love it! :D This is what we got for her:
Yeap... we got her something she loves! In case you don't understand the Malay word written on the packaging... it's actually 3 in 1 coffee powder! She loves drinking 3 in 1! And according to hubby, she's been trying to find this brand everywhere but failed to do so... and luckily, we found it! So we bought her not one, but TWO big packs of the coffee powder! Muahahahahah!! Of course, I also added a red packet with some cash inside for her as well :D

#5 : I won a giveaway!
Yes! I just got an email from Stacie of Simply Stacie telling me that I won one of her giveaways! You can read this post where she announced the winners of her recent giveaways or you can read this post to know more on the giveaway I entered few weeks ago. Below is the screenshot of the post if you're lazy to hop over to check it out hahaha...
So what exactly did I win? Well, according to the giveaway, I won a "$20 Gift Certificate"! This is such an awesome news! And so timely too! My Mother's Day gift for this year! I'll be going over to the website to plan what I'm going to get with the $20! :D

So, that's about it I guess... a few updates all happening in 1 day! Before I signed off for today, I would like to wish all my readers and visitors a Happy Mother's Day and hope you have a blessed weekend! :D

I hope you are enjoying your Mother's Day!

I really like the stickers on the wall? where did you get them?

Those wall stickers sure are attractive. We had some stars on the ceiling of our bedroom that glow in the dark and that you can't even see when it's light--pretty cool. (It used to be a kid's room before we moved in).

Stopping by from SITS.

Looks like your playroom is coming along nicely! I like that it's so bright. Ours is sorta shady all day long. Makes for very lazy afternoons!

Hey Angelica!
Mother's Day was OK. I got the wall stickers from one of our local mini malls.

Hi Karen!
Hubby and I wanted to get the glow-in-the-dark stickers but decided not to since we only used this room during daytime :)

Hello parentingBYdummies,
Yeah, I loved the playroom. Will add in more stuff as time goes by... :)
