I just got back few hours ago from a brief visit to my ex-company with hubby & Benjamin. Actually hubby is going there to deliver some IT products which were ordered by my ex-company (RAM & software) through hubby's company so I decided to tag along with Benjamin and then go to Ikea for some shopping for Ben.
When we reached my ex-company, it was almost 12pm so there were a few ex-colleagues already there hanging out at the reception counter so I managed to catch some of them. When we pushed open the door, sounds of 'Oohh's and 'Aahh's could be heard loudly - until some other colleagues from the inner section also came out to check out what cause the commotion at the reception.
Soon, there were like almost a dozen of my ex-colleagues surrounding us (ok, surrounding Ben to be more precise :P) and all of them were gushing over Ben.
"Wow so cute!" (My reply: Thanks!!)
"Eh he very quiet wor!" (My reply: Err... only in front of strangers...)
"Wah he not scared of strangers wan ar?" (My reply: He's just quiet and analysing his surroundings)
"So big eyes - bigger than us adults!" (My reply: Like his mummy maaaa..)
"Oo... Looks like Jenny lah, the eyes!" (My reply: Ya ya!)
"I like his complexion!" (My reply: Oh thanks!)
"Wah... he looks at people never blink eyes wan ar?" (My reply: Yeah.. he has this strange ability of staring at you and not blinking for a long time. Which hubby then said "Next time he grow up become boss, if you are his macai, habis... he stare at you one time you gone..!")
"He's got a nice rounded head.Sleep sarong ar?" (My reply: No la.. Sarong only until he 3 mths old, that also can count how many times he use and he sleeps on his back also but he can cleverly sleep sideways to rotate himself, also his mah-mah used to massage his head lah)
I am so proud to be Benjamin's mummy. I'm so glad I quit my job and be a full-time mummy. I thank God for giving and blessing us with this perfect child.
Isaiah 25:1- O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things, things planned long ago.
James 1:17-Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
