I read with sadness and disgust on the following articles. I don't know what wrong these babies did to deserve such treatment / end to their lives. Click on the link to read further apart from the excerpts I copied out from the articles...
- Hunt for mum of baby in sewage - "A MYSTERY mum was being hunted yesterday after the body parts of a newborn baby were found at a sewage works. Workmen discovered pieces of the child as they were clearing a tank of sludge. "
- Body Of Newborn Baby Found In Toilet Pump - "The badly-decomposed body was believed to have been abandoned there two days ago"
- Woman held after baby's body found - "A 20-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a baby's body was discovered in the boot of a car"
- Mom allegedly poisoned baby to get dad's attention - "A 25-year-old former medical assistant on probation for a similar crime laced her breast milk with morphine and fed it to her 2-month-old daughter in an effort to attract the attention of the child's father, authorities alleged Thursday."

It's truly sad and scary to read all these kinda things.
Recently in UK, there's been a resurgence of interest in Baby P, heard of him? Died after being abused by 3 people for like 8 months, I think he had 50 injuries in total.
Social services saw him like 60 times, but in the end he still died, i.e. should have been prevented.
And then there's the case in US I think, of someone who put the baby in a microwave...

Baby P? Never heard of him. Let me Google and find out. Thanks for telling.
Those few articles I listed are just on 1 page search, I did not even click on the following searches. It's already sad enough to read all these. I mean, why bring a baby to this world (after 9mths in your tummy) and then end his/her life?
Don't know what is on the mind of these ppl... :(
