Testing, testing, 1, 2, 3

Ben has been gumming a lot of things since a month ago. So the other day he gummed the mouth piece of the sippy cup. Actually I was doing an experiment whether he can drink from the sippy cup so I poured about 10ml of water inside to see whether he is able to drink the water (he didn't...) and he end up gumming the soft plasticky material of the mouth piece...

He was so happy with the sippy cup! Just look at his cute pose!!! Anyway, these week have experimented twice, first mashed mangoes, yesterday mashed papaya, just to test whether he can taste and flick his tongue before I officially get the baby rice cereal.

My baby is growing up so fast! Soon, he won't need his mummy's nen-nen already.... :( bwwwuaaaaaaaaaa....

Yup... but at the moment he's just gumming it... :P

Can he lift the cup properly yet? Most babies will develop the necessary motor skills around 9 months.

And it takes weeks for them to get used to the cup. I know you think highly of Ben, but things still take time. :)

Erm.. he can hold the cup with 2 hands just not able to lift up the cup to drink from it.

Other than that, Ben also grasp things within his reach (my hair, toys, table cloth, plastic hanging in the kitchen, torchlight, etc etc) and he is able to cross link his fingers if you said 'Cross fingers' to him :)

If he can't lift the cup, why do you expect him to drink from it. =-P

Ooh, fingers crossed! Getting ready for a life full of hope I see. =-P Should also teach him yes, no, and MORE!!!

Well, he can lift the cup towards his mouth but not lift it high so that the water can trickle down..hahah...
